VIENNA, Masculine (Black Movie Days)

In November of 2024 I had the pleasure of exhibiting at the Black Movie days at Cape 10.

The series of works shown were a testimony of deconstructing the patriarchal attachments to the words masculine and feminine.

The selection included some of my earliest pieces, paintings that were previously exhibited in Paris and 8 recent works that explore the dichotomy that comes with this topic.

It is a journey of redefining masculinity, Rejecting the expectation to perform and embracing the state of simply being.

Big thank you to Community Work Volkshilfe and Anna Gabescik for organising this event and including me.

Big thank you to Raffaela Dumas-Janetschko for curtaing my first solo exhibition!

Thank you so much to everyone who pulled up and showed love! I sincerely appreciate it:’)

I had the best time talking about and sharing my art with everyone and am beyond grateful for all of the insightful conversations I had!
